AUTONOMOUS DRIVE INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM CONCEPT
PROJECT IN THE COURSE INTERACTION DESIGN METHODOLOGY, M.SC. INTERACTION DESIGN AT CHARMERS 2014.
This is a short project creating a family bounding activity for autonomous vehicles by using a user-centered design approach. The proposed solution is an interactive augmented reality system in the car, surrounded by interactive touch screen windows. The variable opacity of the window screens allow users to interact with both outside surroundings and augmented reality content, supporting learning, exploration and creation of content. The family could for example experience a travel to space or through an underwater world while commuting to work and school.
The project is a collaboration with Joyce Chow, Simon Eliasson, Jean-Elie Barjonet, Sebastian Odbjer. Tools used for illustration and animation are Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects.
